Bistro Bania

Our school canteen, Bistro Bania, is professionally managed and fully accredited with the NSW Healthy Canteen Association. This means the food and drinks available to students meet NSW Healthy School Canteen guidelines, supporting healthier choices for our school community.

While the canteen is run by experienced managers, it is also a valued part of our school community and relies on the support of P&C volunteers to keep everything running smoothly. Volunteers play an important role in helping prepare orders, serve students, and ensure the canteen continues to operate for our children.

Bistro Bania is open Wednesday to Friday during the school term.

Volunteer in the Canteen

The Brisbania Public School Canteen Management, together with the P&C Executive, warmly welcomes parents and carers who would like to volunteer in our canteen.

Volunteering is a great way to:

  • Support the school and its students

  • Meet other parents and carers

  • Be part of the school community

  • Help ensure the canteen can continue operating for our children

No previous experience is required. Our friendly Canteen Managers will guide you through everything you need to know so that your time in the canteen is safe, enjoyable and rewarding.

We Need Your Help

The canteen can only continue to operate with the help of volunteers. Even one morning or a few hours a term can make a big difference.
